“When God connected me to Let’s Get Together Ministry 4 years ago, I was “holding it together” on the outside. But, inside I was very religious, offended by the Church and spirituality dying. Because of the trauma I experienced in the past, I felt totally rejected and I thought I was a lost cause. “I was unexpectedly introduced to Martha and her ministry about 7 years ago. I was headed to a meeting at church and was surprised to find no one in the auditorium. While heading back to my car, I met two ladies that confirmed my suspicion; my meeting was canceled. They invited me to join them at their prayer meeting. As soon as I walked in the room, I knew something was different. I remember sitting there unsure of what was going on. I asked God if this was, Him please let me know. If it wasn't, I was out of there. I heard Him clearly say it was Him. He told me my discomfort was from not knowing Him (the Holy Spirit). It was the first time I heard God so clearly. I didn’t know I could have a deep personal relationship with the Holy Spirit like described in Acts. I left that first meeting knowing my faith had changed in a radical way. I grew up in churches that never discussed the Holy Spirit. Through Martha’s spirit lead teaching, my knowledge and relationship with the Holy Spirit continued to grow. I learned how much the Lord delights in me. I learned that I don’t have to work in my own strength and knowledge, but the Lord’s. I discovered the specific purpose God had put in my life and gifted me to complete What I learned at those prayer meetings flooded other areas of my life. My difficult work relationships improved as the Holy Spirit gave me wisdom to build them. I met my husband during this time, and the Holy Spirit gave me the courage to know he was the one. My hope for the future deepened with specific prophetic words that were spoken over me. Even though God has moved me and my family to another state, He is still using Martha’s online prayer meetings to encourage me. I am so grateful that God used Martha and her ministry to draw me closer to Him, and intimacy with the Holy Spirit.”
