The Sin Of Unforgiveness

People of God,

We know that unforgiveness comes from a root of pain where people have experienced abuse, mistreatment, betrayal and where they have not been able to release the offense. 

When people refuse to forgive that will open a door for a curse.

These are some of the causes or roots of unforgiveness:

1) refusing to release an offense

2) being spiritually Immature

3) being selfish or self-centered

4) not having a true relationship with God and the revelation of forgiveness 

We all as a humans have a need to be forgiven, because we all have sinned.

As a Christian when you receive forgiveness from God, God commands you to forgive.

God commands us to forgive ourselves and others like He has forgiven us.

When we forgive ourselves and others our sins are covered.

Unless we truly understand our own need for forgiveness, we cannot forgive others.

“We have all strayed like sheep. Each one of us has turned to go his own way, and the Lord has laid all our sins on him.”
